Oleksandr Glyadelov is a master of documentary photography from Ukraine. From the early 1980s to the present day, he has been creating a unique and distinctive chronicle of our times. Documenting events in Transnistria, Chechnya, Azerbaijan and, since 2014, the Russo-Ukrainian war, Oleksandr was convinced that a large-scale Russian attack on Ukraine would happen. In Focus on Infinity, the viewer becomes the artist's companion on his journeys, in which both the photographer and the people he photographs are constantly torn between painful inevitability and an unwavering faith in the good.
