Andrius Iskauskas, an IP attorney with extensive experience, will discuss the legal relations, contracts and key points concerning the realtionship between a producer and a film’s creative crew. We will learn what IP law protects, how and when a creator can benefit from the right to remuneration and dispose of the rights, and what innovations the new amendments to the law have brought about. Practical examples will be used to illustrate the subtleties of contracts between a producer and a creative team and the most common legal disputes.
Andrius Iskauskas is an intellectual property, technology and media lawyer with experience in the creative industries. He holds more than 15 years of experience in advising on music and film production and licensing, trademarks, technology transfer and licensing, e-commerce, privacy and data protection, artificial intelligence regulation, media regulation.
