Enid is a film censor, whose job is to recommend to leave out the most explicit scenes of horror films, so that they can be released. When she is assigned to censor a film from the archives, it rekindles fresh memories of her sister, who has been missing for many years now. Becoming increasingly obsessed, she picks up the trail and embarks on a nightmarish, feverish quest during which the lines between fiction and reality become blurred.
