The webinar follows the cycle of the filmmaker’s journey. The writer as well as his hero crosses the line of the ordinary world to explore stations and questions as he enters the wonder of film. He follows his fears, hopes, checks his beliefs, moving from what he wants best to what he needs most. With the treasure – and the pleasure – of films and screenplays available to us, guided by Ruth we will voyage through our characters exposing them for who they are, revealing what they say, what they don’t say, discover drama as the art of expectations, the richness yet illusion of signs and images. We will sift through relationships and memories, play a dangerous game while dancing with our shadow, get lost discovering strange lands until we can return home.
Moving forward from departure to return with the abundance of films at our side we will find what can be illuminated somehow on the screen and within ourselves. The masterclass will include a conclusive Q&A session.
