Masterclass
Lithuanian animation producers and animators are invited to learn more about the production and distribution of animation shorts, full-lengths as well as TV sequels. Irish producer Moe Honan, CEO of “Moetion Films”, will share the do’s and don’ts of producing world-renowned and award-winning animation pieces high-grossing at the box office.
Ireland’s animation industry has grown over the last 20 years from a small domestic sector to becoming a successful creative, service and co-producing partner on the global stage. Moe Honan will present the background story of Ireland’s journey towards being a successful animation producer as a small country, and will give us a look at her latest film “Two by Two Overboard!” (2020) while overviewing the challenges and opportunities of co-producing.
Since 2000, Moe has co-produced award-winning animated feature films: “The Ugly Duckling & Me”, “Niko & the Way to The Stars”, “Niko 2 – Little Brother Big Trouble”, all of which have been successfully distributed internationally. Her TV series credits include: “Lilly The Witch”, “Zombie Hotel”, “The Ugly Duckling & Me”, “The Fairytaler, “The World of Tosh”.
In 2013/2014 she co-developed and produced “Two By Two – Ooops! The Ark Has Gone” (U.S. title: All Creatures Big and Small), a 3D animated feature film which attracted large audiences in the UK and Ireland, and has since been distributed world-wide to over 140 territories.
