Irena and Neža are half-sisters and they couldn't be more different. Irena is a quiet hair-dresser, going though a divorce. Neža is an uncompromising stubborn idealist not to be messed with. They have different mothers who hate each other, and have inherited this hostility as their own. However, when forced by circumstance they have to share a flat in Ljubljana, things start to change.
