The knight Antonio Bloke comes back from crusades to his native Sweden where he finds starvation, plague, burning witches and the whiteface Death wanting his life. Bloke wants to win eternity and offers the Death to play chess. One of the srongest conversations about temporality of human being in the film history is starting.
