Blame It on the Seagull

Julie Engås, born in 1968 in Norway, educated at the National Academy of the Arts. She studied animation at Volda University College, graduating in 1997. Since then, she has directed several animated shorts as well as the documentary Sound-Shadows (2008), which screened at numerous international festivals and was broadcast on television. Works as director, screenwriter, cinematographer and editor, has received several awards for her work.
