They met on Christmas Eve, beyond one’s usual living-space: at the morgue. In an outburst of feelings, they try to manipulate each other in order to get what they want. She wants him, but he wants to disappear.

Astra Zoldnere

Astra Zoldnere (born in 1983) is a Latvian film director. A. Zoldnere holds an MA degree in film directing from the Baltic Film and Media School. She has directed four short films, music videos and light installations. Her graduation short The Fencer has been screened at fifteen international film festivals and received the critics’ award at the International Cinema School, Moscow 2010. It was also nominated for the best student film at the Latvian National film festival. Now Astra works on her documentary film Blueberry Spirits.
