François Ozon
François Ozon was born in Paris in 1967. With his master’s degree in Cinema (Paris I), he entered the French famous school of cinema La Fémis in the director section in 1990. Since then he has been shooting many movies in super-8, video, 16mm and 35mm. Many of his short movies have been in competition in various international festivals. Sitcom, his first feature, was screened at Cannes Festival in 1998. F. Ozon has achieved international acclaim for his films 8 Women (2002) and Swimming Pool (2003).
