Stranger by the Lake

Actor, director and writer Alain Guiraudie was born into a farming family in 1964. He represented the working class in the film That Old Dream That Moves, winner Prix Jean Vigo and presented in 2001 at the Directors Fortnight. Jean-Luc Godard spoke on this occasion that it was the “Best Film at Festival de Cannes.” His other features has been selected in the past for the Directors’ Fortnight (No Rest for the Braves, 2003; The King of Escape, 2009).
