Fatma lives with her husband and six children in Vienna, trying to preserve the traditional values and the social prestige of her family. When Ayse, a 19-year-old girl from the Turkish countryside, is chosen to be married to Fatma’s son, a special friendship evolves between the two women. But soon this relationship is put to the test as the family has to face a difficult stroke of fate.
