A short life story of Algimantas Bučiūnas is told through occasional and complementary fragments from today and from the past that often discord in a very comic way. Director filmed a casual day of her grandfather who lives in Panevėžys. Incongruity of his grandchild's view through the camera and his memories of himself allows the viewer to form an individual portrait of the film character."Despite (or maybe precisely because) my grandfather talking all the time, no one has ever looked closer into stories he's got to tell. Observing him through the lens of my camera for one continuous day, I managed to concoct a rough, fragmented portrait of my grandfather Algimantas. It presents and explores the somewhat comic dissonance between the notion of his own past and the way he appears to me in the present”, says director Rūta Bučiūnaitė.
