An elderly Spanish woman named Maria sits by the road behind a rickety, homemade stall. Her daily task is to greet and count the travellers as they pass by. They are pilgrims and have a long, arduous journey ahead of them, on the ancient Camino de Santiago.

Anne Milne is a Scottish director and editor. Additionally she has produced web based content and video games, and taught new media for a number of years in California. In 2010 she completed a two-year MFA in film directing at the Edinburgh College of Art. She is currently developing a feature-length documentary.
