Film tells the story of a family in the Liège suburb of Seraing. Jean, the father, has been fired and keeps this secret from his two children. Marie (18) has a baby. Benjamin (14) should be going to school, but prefers to spend his time with friends, mopeds, pranks and fake guns. The three live separately from each other, all alone in the same house. They only talk when they need something from each other. “This isn't cinema that tells a straightforward story, but instead wants to show the audience something, let them feel something and possibly disturb them,” tells director Martijn Smits.
