The world-famous conductor abruptly interrupts his career and returns to his childhood village in northern Norway. Director
Kay Pollak
Director Kay Pollak was born in 1938 in Gothenburg. While studying mathematics and statistics at the Universities of Gothenburg and Umea, he became involved in student theater activities. There he wrote scripts, directed and starred. From 1968 to 1978, he directed many television films, entertainment and children’s shows. His debut in cinema is the 1977 film “Elvi! Elvi! ”. His second film, Children's Island, was released in 1980.
