"It's all over now," says one of the most famous directors, Ingmar Bergman. In the three-part documentary, along with director Marie Nyrerod, he looks at his life and long career in cinema, theater and television.
Bergman and the Cinema - Ingmar Bergman last visits the Filmstaden studio, where many of his films have been made. He displays unique, unseen material from his personal archives.
"Bergman and Theater" - Ingmar Bergman said goodbye to cinema in 1982 with "Fans and Alexander" (1982). He did not regret it. “It was harder to say goodbye to the theater,” he says.
"Bergman and Faroe Islands" - the last part of the film could also be called "Bergman and Life". In his home by the sea, Bergman talks about childhood, shows the locations where the film Persona (2002) was filmed, talks about love and death, and lists his most terrible demons.
