Pyotr Sapegin was born in 1955 in Russia. He has lived and worked in Norway since 1990 and has now received citizenship. Pyotr Sapegin worked as a set designer in Moscow theaters for 15 years. He started working with animation after moving to Norway. He has created a number of animated films that have won national and international festivals. The director is also known as a creator of animated commercials.
