A new documentary by Catalan filmmaker Albert Serra on the Corrida celebrity matador Andrés Roca Rey. A poetic look at Rey's pre-fight rituals, his flamboyant costumes, his conversations with colleagues. However, the heart of the film lies in the confrontation between the matador and the bull itself, a controversial spectacle of violence, in which the rationality and endurance of the man clashes with the ferocity of the animal. The film won the main prize at the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
