Nils snow ploughs the wild winter mountains of Norway, and is recently awarded Citizen of the Year. When his son is murdered for something he did not do, Nils wants revenge. And justice. His actions ignite a war between the vegan gangster “The Count” and the Serbian mafia boss “Papa”. Winning a blood feud isn’t easy, especially not in a welfare state. But Nils has something going for him: heavy machinery and beginner’s luck.

Hans Petter Moland was born in 1955 in Oslo, Norway, he studied film at Emerson College in Boston and has been working as a director for over 20 years, making commercials and feature films. He made his debut as a feature film director in 1993 with the WWII-drama, The Last Lieutenant. His next film, Zero Kelvin (1995), won numerous awards. He has continued to direct award-winning feature films with international acclaim, such as Aberdeen (2000), The Beautiful Country (2004) and A Somewhat Gentleman (2010), which all were screened in Scanorama. He made his first documentary, When Bubbles Burst, in 2012.
