Tricolour tells the tale of Lithuanian post-war history and creates a portrait of the post-war freedom fighter – unadulterated and authentic, as portrayed by twelve witnesses of the battles of the time, ex-partisans and their signallers.

Vytautas V. Landsbergis

Vytautas V. Landsbergis is a poet, publicist, theater and cinema director, children’s literature writer. He graduated from Vilnius University with a degree in Lithuanian philology. He Studied film direction at the Tbilisi institute of theatre, the Jonas Mekas Anthology Film Archives in New York. He made more than 20 films. The director’s most recent works (When I Was a Partisan (2008), The Partisan’s Wife (2011) mostly deal with Lithuanian partisans.
