Juana, a young Bolivian woman, leaves her husband and child behind when she goes to Argentina to work as a seamstress. It doesn’t take long for the illusion of financial gain to burst – Juana is being exploited and working conditions become unbearable.

Catalina Molina

Born in 1984 in Buenos Aires, Catalina Molina has been living in Austria since 1990. In 2004 she began her studies at the Film Academy in Vienna, University of Music and Performing Arts, where she studied film directing with Michael Haneke. After her graduation, she participated in the Babylon Rotterdam programme 2010, with her feature project Córdoba 1978, which was also selected for the Babylon Cannes.
