In 1965 detective Babak Hafizi (actor Amir Jadidi) undergoes an interrogation after the Prime Minister was assassinated in front of the Parliament. Meanwhile, in flashbacks, he investigates the suspicious suicide of an exiled political prisoner in a vast desert valley. Assisted by a hippie sound engineer and a geologist, Hafizi unravels more than one mystery throughout this journey into the world of conspiracies, paranoia and hallucination. Stylish and visually attractive, this highly original political mystery told from multiple perspectives and time periods is completely dissimilar to any other Iranian film made this year.
