Winter, 1915. Camille Claudel is confined by her family to an asylum in the South of France - where she will never sculpt again. The chronicle of Camille’s Claudel’s reclusive life unfolds, while she is waiting for a visit from her brother Paul Claudel.

Bruno Dumont

Bruno Dumont was born in Nord Bailleul (France) in 1958. He taught philosophy before turning to film directing. B. Dumont’s debutThe Life of Jesus (1997) went on to receive a Caméra d‘Or Special Mention at Cannes. Two times he won the Grand Prix du Jury at Cannes, for Humanity (1999) and Flanders (2006). Outside Satan(2011) was presented at Un Certain Regard at Cannes.
